After the success of the second edition of the CIDIQ (Conference on Innovative Teaching in Chemical Engineering), celebrated in the School of Engineering of the UV in 2012, this year, the teaching body of Chemical Engineering gathered in Alacant for the third edition of this conference, continuing the initiative promoted by the CODDIQ (Conference of Directors and Deans of Chemical Engineering).

The CIDIQ is an encounter celebrated twice a year whose intention is to motivate the exchange of teaching experiences in the field of Chemical Engineering, with the goal of progressing in the training of professionals in this area. 

This year’s edition took place from 21 to 23 January in University of Alacant. More than 30 speeches where given and more than 50 posters where presented which were addressed to Teaching and Research Staff of the University, in the field of Chemical Engineering. 

The teaching body of the department of Chemical Engineering of the School of Engineering of the UV participated with a speech and four posters. The speech was about the implementation of a model of  feedback evaluation for the improvement of the laboratory reports in the first years of chemical engineering. The posters presented by the School of Engineering of the UV where: micro-applications for the in situ simulation of laboratory assemblies, the digitalisation of problem solving in Chemical Engineering as a tool for auto-evaluation and self-directed learning, the IDIQ-METTIC: a project to promote the educative innovation in Chemical Engineering through the development of competences by means of the integration of active methodology and ICT resources, and finally, the progressive learning in terms of projects of Chemical Engineering.
