The evolution of networks of wireless sensors/actuators forces the usage of IP technologies in order to increase the interoperability. The use of the IP opens the door to the creation of complex networks with the introduction of usual and standardised elements within the field of computers, tablets, smartphones, etc. that will need to be treated differently when applied to embedded devices.

The aim is to present a complete IoT framework, from its architecture to each of the modules that form it (Bootstrapping, Configuration, Device Manager, etc.), while dealing with the advantages and the possible problems and solutions.
