Next 25 October 2016 ETSE-UV will hold in Room 0.2.4 a seminar about Fluid dynamics modelling and chemical engineering. It will be taught by Emilio Ruiz Reina of the University of Málaga regarding COMSOL software package.
AIMS
On the first part of the seminar, participants will learn how to use COMSOL Multiphysics finite element simulation tools to virtually simulate any design including various physical effects and their interactions through a live demonstration.
Then, the seminar will focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which is fundamental to a great variety of Multiphysic analysis, either for determine the smooth flow thereof or for use it as convective transport together with any other connected Physics.
The seminar will also offer an introduction to the Chemical Reaction Engineering module COMSOL Multiphysics.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to attend the workshop, it is necessary to have a laptop (preferably with Windows OS). Addlink Software Científico will provide the participants with COMSOL Multiphysics software (please see the system requirements) and a temporary license for using it during the workshop and software evaluation in the following days.
