The Permanent Board is the body responsible for assisting the Director in the management of the Department. Its composition and functions are regulated in Articles 25 to 27 of the Internal Regulations of the Department, as well as in the various provisions of the Statutes of the University of Valencia.

The Permanent Board comprises the Head of the Department, which is chaired by three representatives of the PDI, by a representative of the PAS and by representatives of the students.
