According to Art. 24 of Law 31/1995:

• If workers from two or more companies perform their activities in the same workplace, the companies must cooperate in applying the regulations on health and safety preventions. To do so, there must be the necessary coordination to protect workers and prevent work risk as well as protect the workers’ information.
• The workplace owner will adopt the necessary measures so that other companies working in said place get proper information and instruction about current risks and protection and prevention methods and emergency methods to inform their workers.
• The cooperation and information measures mentioned will be applied to freelance workers working in the same workplace.
• Companies hiring other companies for construction work or services performed in the workplace must make sure that the hired companies met the regulations.
• Manufacturers importers and suppliers must provide the companies the necessary information that the use of machinery, equipment, products, materials and tools is without risks for safety or health of workers.
