As soon as the pregnant woman informs in writing of her state to the holder or to the occupational risk prevention area, the protection of the foetus must be comparable to that of the public.

The pregnancy status does not entail that pregnant women have to avoid working in the presence of radiations or that her access to radiation areas should be forbidden.

However, the working conditions must be carefully evaluated, so it can be ensured that the limit aforementioned is not exceeded.
