The APR is in charge of supervising the compliance of the current legislation on radiation protection, and the own regulations established in the different radioactive facilities’ Functioning Regulations

If any radioactive source or material, equipment generating ionizing radiation or containing radioactive sources inside it is to be acquired, the Radiological Protection Service must be informed to determine the conditions of use and risks derived from it.
