Awards: José María Peiró awarded Doctor Honoris Causa

The University of Maastrich has invested in the early afternoon of Friday, January 31, the professor of the University of Valencia José María Peiró as a new Doctor "Honoris Causa" of the academic institution. The investiture has coincided with the 44th anniversary of the founding of this university, the most international in the Netherlands, with almost half of the foreign students. The ceremony has been directed by the rector, Rianne Letschert.

Maastricht University celebrated its 44th anniversary in the Sint Janskerk, Maastricht, on Friday, 31 January 2019. The theme of this year's celebration was: Academic Leadership – Nurturing Talent, Developing Skills.
The ceremony included awarding one of the most prestigious awards in academia Doctor Honoris Causa.
The ceremony was led by UM Rector Magnificus Rianne Letschert.
The University of Maastrich awarded prof. José María Peiró with Doctor Honoris Cause for his incredible achievements and demonstrated leadership in the field of work and organizational psychology.
