SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES
Strategic management in companies, based only on economic benefits, is changing.
The United Nations, both with the Global Compact and with the new sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, has emphasized the need to broaden the focus of interest towards objectives such as the well-being of workers and the cure of the environment. .
People spend a third of their lives at work, and that is why working conditions are needed that ensure decent work, focusing on vulnerable groups due to age or gender.
For an organization to be responsible and sustainable, its approach has to be holistic. In this sense, the Triple Bottom Line model (or Triple Bottom Line) coined by Elkington (1997) is relevant to the 3 P's: people, planet, profit (people, planet and profits) where the balance between these three objectives It is essential for effective, efficient and sustainable management.
With this project we intend to frame human resources management within the paradigm of sustainability, CSR and sustainable development objectives, making special mention of the gender issue and age management in social economy organizations, especially in the cooperatives.
