There are opportunities to receive financial support during your studies in this program. The most common opportunity is applying for an Erasmus+ grant. The Erasmus+ scholarship is awarded to students who meet the Erasmus+ conditions by Maastricht University’s Erasmus Office. The FPN International Relations Office will inform you about the possibilities in due course. A scholarship may be granted for the study period in Lüneburg (semester 2) and Valencia (semester 3). Note that funding rates may vary from year to year. As an orientation, in the 2024/2025 academic year the monthly grant was €390 for semester 2 and €330 for semester 3.

Another opportunity is a full scholarship, which Leuphana University awards to a maximum of 5 students per cohort as part of the DAAD-funded Integrated International Degree Programs with Double Degrees Program. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic qualifications (top 25% of their year at their university), personal suitability, and interview scores. The scholarship is paid out during the first semester in the Netherlands and the third semester in Spain (about €1,000 per month) plus a one-time travel allowance of about €250 for the Netherlands and €425 for Spain per recipient. Scholarships are awarded for a total of ten months, for a total scholarship value of about €10,600. Please note that the grant fees indicated here applied to the academic year of 2024/2025 and may vary from year to year.
