The access to the service is managed by an Access Committee, which is formed by scientists in charge of assessing each one of the application forms and plan the access to the resources available. The resources are assigned for 4 months, after this period it is necessary to submit another access application form. The model chosen imitated the one that currently exists in the BSC, which has demonstrated to be utterly valid. The opening and closing of deadlines to submit the application forms will be appropriately published both in the Tirante website and to the users of scientific calculation of the UV.
Application models of calculation hours
To complete the application form of calculation hours, a form model corresponding to your necessities in each case must be filled out. There are two models available: calculation hours request for a new project or application for continuing a current project that, for any reason, needs more calculation hours.
Instructions for filling out the forms
The forms are PDF files that have to be filled out. We recommend to use Acroread. Once everything has been filled out, it has to be sent by email as an attachment to tirant@uv.es or follow the instructions of Acroread after “Submit the form”. Remember that there are two versions, one for the new projects and another one for renewing a project that has currently been aproved.
Access to the RES
Finally, we want to remind you that you can also use the calculation time assigned to you in the RES, through the usage of the following web form.
In that case, the access committee to the RES will evaluate your request and will decide in which RES node your work will be developed (in the event your request has been admitted).
