The AIMPLAS - UV Chair for Sustainability in the Plastic Sector is focused on researching technological advances in the plastics industry, addressing environmental challenges, innovations in materials and processes and exploring new applications in collaboration with the academic community. It also promotes training programs and talent development to drive sustainability and efficiency throughout the value chain of the plastic sector.

About the Chair
The purpose of the DAM Chair for Integrated Management and Resource Recovery from Wastewater is to promote training, cultural, research and university extension activities aimed at understanding and disseminating sustainable management and resource recovery from wastewater. One of the most important challenges for the Chair is to ensure that, both in the industrial sector and in society in general, wastewater is not seen as mere waste but as a source of valuable resources (water, energy, fertilisers) with significant economic and environmental value.

Open Innovation (Training)
The goal is to facilitate meetings between academics, business leaders, technicians and students to promote the sustainable management of wastewater and its resources.
Living Labs
For students in the Chair's innovation areas. In the first phase, the following activities will be conducted:
- Organising workshops to encourage problem identification, idea generation, synergy creation, etc., to foster students' personal and professional development;
- Encouraging participation in national and international talent and strategy competitions;
- Organising informal debate meetings (Innotalk) between students, academics, business leaders and technicians;
- Promoting student participation in national and international conferences.
Courses and Workshops
- Conducting training courses on specific topics related to the Chair, taught by experts from both academic and professional fields.
Creation of New Knowledge (Promotion)
Its objective is to promote the development of research lines that favor the sustainable management of wastewater through efficient technologies with high resource recovery potential, aligning with the principles of the Circular Economy.
Activities:
- Holding workshops between different research groups (multidisciplinary) aligned with the Chair's theme, where they present their work lines, accumulated experiences and challenges, all with the aim of promoting collaboration between different knowledge areas and creating synergies;
- Funding non-doctoral research staff contracts for specific work within a research line;
- Awarding prizes for the best undergraduate and master’s degree final projects and doctoral theses developed on the Chair's theme.

About the Chair
The Sanuker Chair for Conversational Software, Bots and Applications was officially established through a collaboration agreement between Sanuker Europe and Latin America S.L., a subsidiary of the Valencian company WOZTELL Sanuker S.L. and the Universitat de València, on 21 May 2021. The purpose of this Chair is to facilitate cooperation between the two parties in order to achieve common objectives in the fields of education, science, technology and culture. The Sanuker Chair for Conversational Software (CBC-UV) commenced its operational management in September 2021 with the objective of fostering the necessary involvement of stakeholders for the ethical and global development of conversational business.
The Chair’s vision is to serve as a conduit between:
- the UV, public administrations, companies and society;
- Artificial Intelligence, automation and humanity;
- conversational citizens and the world.
The Chair aims to contribute to the ethical and global development of conversational business, transferring knowledge to society and promoting interest in professionalising and humanising the automation of communications.
