In December 2023, the LEEME Electronic Magazine, published by the University of Valencia through the IUCIE, was purchased by the English publishing group Open Access Text.
OA Text is an independent, open access scientific publisher presenting innovative research and ideas aimed at improving science by linking research and practice for the benefit of society.
The LEEME Electronic Journal (Electronic Journal of Music in Education, in English) is indexed in Scopus, Elsevier's indexer, and is positioned in the first quartile in the Music category. Likewise, it is indexed in Journal Citation Reports, by Clarivate. The journal has an excellent position in international indexers, being the second Spanish journal in academic importance and the dean of the journals on research in music education that currently exist in Spain, as it has been published uninterruptedly for twenty-six years.
The Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations continues to participate in the publication of this magazine as a sponsor. In addition, Jesús Tejada, former director of this magazine and researcher at the Institute, is its current editor-in-chief.
