On September 30, our colleague Marina Botello Marabotto, from the NANOSENS group, defended her doctoral thesis entitled “NMR-based metabolomics for the identification of biomarkers of disease”. A thesis directed by Prof. Ramón Martínez Mañez, Principal Investigator of the NANOSENS group and current director of the IDM, Dr. Mª. Carmen Martínez Bisbal and Dr. Andrea Bernardos Bau.

His defense was evaluated by the prestigious tribunal formed by Dr. Ana Paula Candiota, from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Dr. Martina Palomino, senior researcher at ProtoQSAR and Dr. Rui V. Simões, from the University of Porto .
