Training objectives

This advanced course is intended as a continuation of the basic course “Foundations of Social and Emotional Development and Effective Stress Management for Educators”. Based on the social and emotional abilities trained in the basic course, this advanced course aims to understand the relationship between social emotional learning and psychological well-being, to explore applications of social and emotional skills in educational settings and to integrate social and emotional competencies into daily practices and routines for sustained benefits. The first session will be dedicated to Ryff's Model of Psychological Well-being: self-acceptance, personal growth, purpose in life , positive relations with others and environmental mastery. The second session will be dedicated to explore techniques and exercises for enhancing well-being through social and emotional practice.

1. Social and Emotional Learning: self-awareness, self-management ,social awareness and social skills.

2. Psychological Well-being: self-acceptance, personal growth, purpose in life , positive relations with others and environmental mastery
