Theoretical seminars and other training activities in the classroom

The Faculty of Chemistry has classrooms for the activities of the Master's Degree in Chemistry, equipped with the necessary audiovisual media, (computer, projector, screen, and internet service).

Laboratories

The different departments of the Faculty of Chemistry and the institutes of Materials Science (ICMUV) and Molecular Science (ICMol) have teaching and research laboratories in which it is possible to carry out the subject Research Stay (14 ECTS). This subject has a large experimental content and the student is integrated into the research group of his/her tutor. The research project is aimed to carry out the Master's Final Project of the Academic or Research Itineraries. Specifically, the existing laboratories are the following:

• Teaching and research laboratories of the Department of Analytical Chemistry.
• Teaching and research laboratories of the Department of Physical Chemistry.
• Teaching and research laboratories of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry.
• Teaching and research laboratories of the Department of Organic Chemistry.
• Research laboratories of the Institute of Materials Science (ICMUV).
• Research laboratories of the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol).
• Laboratories of the Central Service for the Support of Experimental Research of the UV (SCSIE), located on the Campus.
• University Computing Service (SIUV) (this service is used when the Master’s Final Project needs computational resources).

Computer classrooms

• Computer rooms of the Faculty of Chemistry, for in-person classes in which the use of computers is required.
• Computer room of the Department of Analytical Chemistry, for use by Postgraduate students, with Internet connection.
• Computer room of the Department of Physical Chemistry, for use by Postgraduate students, with Internet connection.

Library and study rooms

• Campus Library, for the use of books, magazines, study rooms, group work rooms, etc.

Other general UV services

• Information and Promotion Service for Students (Servicio de Información y Dinamización de Estudiantes, SeDI). This service aims to provide information and training services to UV current and future students as well as other related groups in the world of education.
• Quality Unit. This unit is responsible for coordinating and managing the evaluation and quality improvement processes in the UV.
• Personal guidance counseling for students. This advice offers guidance and advice on psychological, sexological and psycho-pedagogical issues. It can also offer information on techniques and psychological work to solve or overcome conflicts, and resources to facilitate academic performance.
• Health Office at Burjassot Campus.
