On 1 June 2017, coinciding with the Graduation of the students of the 6th class, the Master’s Degree offered this lecture by Dr. Fernando Rodríguez de Fonseca.

Professor Rodríguez de Fonseca presented new results obtained in some of his researches using lysophosphatidic acid. Since this acid is a lipid, it is a component of the neuronal membrane, so it intervenes in the configuration of the human being. It is also involved in alcohol addiction, according to what he has discovered along with his research team, and could be used for treating alcoholism.

Dr. Fernando Rodríguez de Fonseca is a Tenured Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. He is also Coordinator of the Network for Addictive Disorders (RTA) and IMABIS Foundation. Málaga.
