On 26 May 2016, Dr Pilar García Pardo received the award for outstanding PhD directed by Dr Asunción Aguilar Calpe.

Both are part of the INVESDROGA research group. Dr Asunción Aguilar

Calpe is professor of the Master’s Degree.

The University of Valencia grants each academic year the awards for outstanding PhD in order to reward the doctoral theses of exceptional quality.

Her Doctoral Thesis “Influence of social stress in the rewarding effects of MDMA and alcohol” received the “cum laude” distinction and its results are already published in international journals with a high impact factor.
