The researcher received the distinction “Cum Laude” for her thesis on ethanol consumption.

On 4 November 2022 took place the defence of the Doctoral Thesis: "Resilience to social defeat-induced increased in ethanol intake: Neuroinflammation response" supervised by Dr. Marta Rodríguez Arias and Dr. José Miñarro López and defended by Ms. Marina Reguilón Romero, graduate student of the Master’s Degree in Research, Treatment and Associated Pathologies in Drug Addictions of the UV and researcher at the Psychobiology of Drug Addictions Research Unit.

The Academic Committee awarded her with the EXCELLENT "Cum Laude" distinction.
