The Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering will organise a cycle of conferences entitled “Microalgae Technology for Water Treatment and Recovery of Nutrients” for the students. The conferences will be held on 25 and 26 October 2016, between 15:30 and 20:00 in Lecture Room F4 of the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).
The cycle's programme will be the following:
25 October 2016
15:30 José Antonio Perales Vargas-Machuca (University of Cádiz): "La fotobiodepuración de aguas residuales con microalgas: Potencialidades y Retos” (“Wastewater Photobiotreatment with Microalgae: Potentialities And Challenges”)
17:30 Francisco Gabriel Acién Fernández (University of Almería): “Escalado de sistemas de tratamiento de aguas residuales basados en microalgas” (“Scaling of Wastewater Treatment Systems based on Microalgae”)
26 October 2016
15:30 Ania Escudero Olabuenaga (University of Glasgow): “Efecto y eliminación de fármacos en el tratamiento de aguas residuales mediante digestión anaerobia y microalgas” (“Impact and Removal of Medicines in Wastewater Treatment via Anaerobic Digestion and Microalgae”)
17:30 Ana Ruiz Martínez (Research Group of Water and Environmental Engineering-UPV): “Research and Technology Transfer: the Case of the MAB 2.0 Project”
