The environmental engineer has to analyse, prevent and remediate the environmental damage, protect the environment and improve the environmental quality, tackling issues such as unsustainable resource consumption, waste generation, pollution of water, air and soil, and prevent that some human activities, including production processes, affect the environmental quality.
