Professor Kris Roger E. Villez, from the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology-EAWAG (Switzerland) will visit the Master in Environmental Engineering as a visiting professor on the 8th and 9th of April.
On Monday the 8th, he will teach a seminar and a workshop to the students of the Master in Environmental Engineering on the following subjects:
1. Research seminar: Wear-and-tear of Water Quality Sensors - Challenges and Opportunities
2. Lecture/workshop: Principal Component Analysis for Regression with High-dimensional Inputs
The seminar and the workshop will be taught in the IT classroom 8 in the School of Civil Engineering (first floor, block 4H) from 3pm. His visit is funded with the aid of the visiting professors call. This financial aid is made for visiting professors on the Masters during 2019 and it is promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Studies, Quality and Accreditation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
