Nuria Verdet Martínez holds a PhD in Early Modern History from the University of Valencia and is a lecturer in the Department of Early Modern and Contemporary History at the same institution. His main line of research is the study of juridical-political culture of the Valencian royal magistracy of the 17th century, exploring the role of this socio-professional group and its intellectual production as an element of articulation and political cohesion of a Hispanic Monarchy. She is author of the monographs Francisco Jerónimo de León. Un letrado al servicio de la Monarquía (PUV, 2014) y Gobernar con el derecho. Las Decisiones de Francisco Jerónimo de León (Institució Alfons el Magnànim, 2019). She has coordinate, with Juan Francisco Pardo and Fernando Andrés, ¿Al servicio de quién?
