From the 21st to the 23rd of June, the 17th International Conference on Research in Advertising 2018 of the European Advertising Academy will be held in Valencia, organized by the Marketing Department of the University of Valencia, under the theme: “Brand communication with multi touchpoints”

The organizing committee, leaded by Enrique Bigné, Professor of Commercialization and Market Research, is made up of 15 lecturers of the Marketing department that have organized the presentation of the papers in 43 sessions, most of which will be held in parallel at ADEIT. Among the different tracks, these can be highlighted:

  • Advertising effectiveness
  • Engagement
  • Sponsored Content
  • Influencers
  • Virtual reality impact
  • Social media and advertising
  • Instagram and User-Generated Content
  • Twitter Messages
  • Chatbots
  • Inbound Marketing

The current edition of ICORIA has reached a very high number of participants (more than 170) and accepted papers (more than 130)

Furthermore, we will count with the special participation of Wendy Moe, lecturer from the University of Maryland and director of the Master of Science in Marketing Analytics, and Jordi Guix, now Associate in Salvetti Llombart and with a wide professional experience including job positions such as General Director of Research & Insights at Havas Media Group.

Papers have been received from 108 different universities in 4 continents, as one can appreciate in the wordcloud below.

Before the official welcome of the ICORIA 2018 participants, the Doctoral Colloquium will be held in the Conference Room of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia, in which more than 20 PhD students will receive recommendations and practical advice for the development of their PhD dissertations.
