This Master does not include curricular internships in its curriculum. However, if you are interested in doing an internship in a company, you can apply for an EXTRACURRICULAR OR VOLUNTARY INTERNSHIP. To do so, carefully consult the information on extracurricular internships provided by the Fundación Universitat Empresa Adeit, which is the body that manages internships at UV: https://www.adeituv.es/practicas-solicitar-extracurriculares/
There are two ways to choose a voluntary internship: 1) you can search and contact a company directly that interests you, or 2) you can select an internship from those offered by Adeit.
In either case, below you will find the documentation that you must send to the Master's directors (master.marketing@uv.es), along with instructions to expedite the process and facilitate the start of your internship.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
The 3 documents you must submit are the following:
- Communication of Internship Student Selection: Fill in your personal information and in the TUTORS section, you must enter as “tutor of the University of Valencia” the name of one of the two co-directors of the Master (Beatriz Moliner o Berta Tubillejas). The company tutor must complete this document and sign it. The template is available at: https://www.adeituv.es/download/2025_comunicado-de-seleccion-practicas/
- Authorization from the Master's Director: Fill in all the required information, describing in detail the objectives and activities to be carried out. In the “Director” section you must enter the name of the two co-directors ((Beatriz Moliner y Berta Tubillejas). The template is available at: https://www.adeituv.es/download/autorizacion-director-a-de-master-y-doctorado/
- Letter of commitment: In order to be authorized by the Master's management to carry out the voluntary internship, it is a necessary condition to complete and submit the TFM in the course in which you do the internship and not to delay it to other subsequent courses. Therefore, you must prepare and sign a written statement in which you formally commit to completing your TFM in the current academic year, following the guidelines of the assigned tutor (or the one assigned to you) and within the deadlines and calls established for this purpose. The Master’s program management may monitor the TFM through your tutor to check the degree of progress of the work and, consequently, the fulfillment of your commitment. This document is personal, you must write it yourself and it must contain the following:
- All your personal information (name and surname, ID or NIF, nationality, starting year of the master's program, chosen specialty, etc.).
- Information about the internship (company, duration, timetable, company tutor, university internship tutor, etc.).
- Your motivation not only for doing a voluntary internship, but also for doing it in that particular company.
- Your firm commitment to completing and submitting the TFM this year, indicating who your tutor is for the TFM and in which call you are going to present it. If the internship starts on or after January 1st of this academic year, you must also indicate the type of work you are going to do, the topic you have chosen, the contacts you have had with the tutor and the current stage of the project. It is recommended to include a realistic timeline or work plan to help assess whether the deadlines will be met.
- Signature and date.
Once the three documents have been submitted, the application will be reviewed by the Master’s Program Office. If any missing information, errors, or inconsistencies are found, you will be asked to make the necessary corrections. The length of the process will depend on the number and type of adjustments required. To speed up the process and facilitate the start of your internship, we recommend following the instructions below.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING THE DOCUMENTATION:
- Preliminary check: Before sending the three documents, carefully review each one to ensure that no information is missing and that there are no errors. This prior check is the responsibility of the student and is essential to expedite the process.
- Unified submission: If you have already been in contact with the Master’s Program Office by email, reply to the latest email received and include the three documents in a single message. This helps keep the communication thread intact for reference and reduces the chance of errors. Please do not send the documents separately.
- Minimum notice period: There must be at least one week between the date of submission of the three documents and the proposed start date of the internship. This notice period is mandatory, even if the Master’s Program Office requests corrections or if you are asked to resend updated documents. It ensures enough time to evaluate the changes, verify that the issues have been resolved, confirm the information with your TFM supervisor, and sign the authorization. In addition, this timeframe allows ADEIT to properly prepare and formalize the internship agreement.
If your internship is approved, we will send you the Authorization Document signed by the Master’s Program Director, which you will need to forward to ADEIT so they can proceed with formalizing your internship agreement.
