Coordinator of the Degree in Pedagogy and Full Professor in the Department of Comparative Education and History of Education at the University of Valencia (UV), where she has been working as an academic, teaching, and researcher in various academic positions since 2005. A professor of Early Childhood Education at the University of Alicante since 2001, she also holds a degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences at the UV since 2004. For the latter degree, she received first prize for academic promotion and second state prize in 2005 from the Valencian and state education authorities, respectively. She holds a PhD in "Education in Political and Social Studies" since 2010, following a four-year contract awarded to her doctoral proposal by the Valencian Council of Science and Technology. Her dissertation with European Mention obtained the Extraordinary Doctoral Award from the UV in 201 and the V Roselló Award for the best doctoral thesis from the Spanish Society of Comparative Education in 2012, opening a line of research focused on Early Childhood Education and Care from a comparative perspective. During the last decade, she has been working in various national and international networks and projects that focus on the study of this field. Dr. Ancheta Arrabal's interest and research focuses on the Right to Education, Children's Rights and the role of Education for equity and social justice. For this reason, she has also collaborated professionally in and with different entities, scientific-academic societies and NGOs, as well as being a member of the Analytical Sociology Laboratory (Edu) of the UV since 2018, the Spanish Society of Comparative Education and the Comparative Education European Society, and the GISBE and GRECIA research groups at the UV. Since 2014, Dr. Ana Ancheta Arrabal has been Secretary of the UV Center for Comparative Education, where she has promoted and implemented various scientific and academic activities, as well as dissemination activities on Comparative and International Education, the right to education, Children's Rights, global agendas for education, and the Global Campaign for Education, with which she has been cooperating since 2007. Finally, since 2022, she has been Director of the Postgraduate Program "University Expert in Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights" at the University of Valencia and is a member of the UNESCO-UV Chair on Global Education in the Mediterranean, which aims to promote peace, interculturality, and sustainable development in the Mediterranean area. Graduate in Fª and CC. of Education (Pedagogy Section) and PhD in Educational Sciences, both from the University of Valencia. She is currently a Full Professor at the same university, in the area of Educational Measurement and Evaluation. She has taught on non-standardized techniques for collecting information and constructing tests in the area of education and on speech disorders in the Speech Therapy degree and in the Master's Degree in Special Education.

She is part of the recognized research group of the University of Valencia GEM-Educo and the teaching innovation group of the University of Valencia, InnovaMIDE. She is also a member of the Interuniversity Association for Pedagogical Research, AIDIPE, and the Ibero-American Network of Researchers on Teaching Evaluation, RIIED.

In the field of educational measurement, she works on the design and validation of tests to measure different types of educational variables linked to the area of language. In the field of evaluation, she works both in the evaluation of educational systems and in the evaluation of learning and skills.

She currently has two six-year terms, one for research and one for transfer. She has directed 18 doctoral theses. She has attended congresses, both national and international, participating with posters, communications, presentations and symposiums. In some of them she has been part of the organizing committee and/or the scientific committee. Likewise, she participates as an evaluator in various magazines in the educational field.
