Ana Lluch (Valencia, 1949) is Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the University of Valencia and head of the Hematology and Oncology Department of the University Clinic Hospital.

Specialist in breast cancer, seeks a deep knowledge of the molecular level of this disease in order to offer its patients a personalized treatment.

Graduate and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Valencia, he obtained the extraordinary doctorate prize. He has been a guest researcher at prestigious international centers such as the Instituto para el Estudio y la Cura dei Tumori (Milan Italy) and the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, United States).

Principal researcher in 10 projects of the Sanitary Research Fund of the Carlos III Health Institute, has also collaborated in 16 other competitive research projects. She has written more than 200 articles in national and international journals and has directed more than 20 doctoral theses.

Dr. Lluch is a member of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Sciences of the Valencian Community, and a member, among others, of the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology, the European Society for Medical Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Evaluator and member of the editorial committee of numerous scientific journals and committees on breast cancer, he has been vice president of the Spanish Senology Society.
