Seventh conference of "Unimajors", open to the general public, in the Cultural Centre "Caixa Ontinyent".

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation carries on with the Conference Series of the "Universitat dels Majors" (Elder Citizens' University) with the seventh conference next 24 January, at 19:00, in the Cultural Centre "Caixa Ontinyent". The series expects to complement the training programme of "Unimajors", the first year of which started on 1 October 2012. This conference, "Todo lo que usted siempre quiso saber sobre la Filosofía y nunca se atrevió a preguntar. Síntesis", will be run by lecturer Vicente Claramonte Sanz, assistant in the Department of Logic and Scientific Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences of the University of Valencia.

The "Universitat dels Majors" (Elder Citizen's Univeristy) emerges as a project of the Ontinyent Municipal Council, with the support of the University of Valencia, for the lifelong learning and training and active aging. The programme is aimed to people over 50 years of age, residing in the town of Ontinyent, the "Vall d'Albaida" and other neighbouring regions, who have a desire for learning and motivation for culture
