The monitoring of official degrees has the following purposes:
- To ensure the execution of the teachings already implemented according to the curriculums of the degrees verified by the Universities Council.
- To achieve visibility and transparency of the teachings taught and of its results ensuring public availability of relevant information in the different groups of interest of the university system.
- To detect any deficiency in the implementation of the degree, proposing improvement recommendations and suggestions.
- To provide relevant information for analysing the adaptation level of the degrees to the European Higher Education Area.
- To demonstrate the progresses of the degree in the development of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIQ) both in the review of the implementation of the curriculum and in the improvement actions for its design and implementation.
