The Universitat de València has established an Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) in seven areas, based on the organisational structure that has been developed since 2008. It is understood that this organisation responds correctly to the development of the system and that the educational community and the staff involved in its implementation are familiar with this organisation:

PF - Training Programme

This dimension ensures the quality and appropriate review of the basic and cross-cutting aspects of a degree, the objectives of the curriculum, the student intake profile, and the graduate output profile.

The processes in this dimension are:

OE - Teaching Organisation

The purpose of this dimension is to present the mechanisms that allow the Centre to guarantee the quality of the most significant processes related to the organisation of teaching.

The procedures included in this dimension are:

RH - Human Resources

The purpose of this dimension is to systematise how the quality of teaching and support staff is guaranteed and improved, ensuring that access, training, evaluation, promotion, and recognition are carried out with guarantees to fulfil their assigned functions.

RM - Material Resources and Services

The purpose of this dimension is to systematise the mechanisms available to the Centre to properly manage its services and material resources, analysing the results and applying continuous improvement in a regular and systematic way.

DE - Teaching Development

This dimension regulates how Centres/Degrees orient their teaching activities towards student learning, based on adequate information to define their needs, establishing mechanisms and procedures that guarantee effective development and continuous improvement.

RE - Results

The purpose of this dimension is to systematise how Centres measure and analyse the results considered important to guarantee the quality of the centre and its degrees. The results/reports generated in this dimension from performance indicator data and surveys conducted to gauge stakeholder satisfaction provide input for the evaluation and improvement of all IQAS procedures, ensuring that objective and measurable data are used for decision-making.

SG - Quality Assurance System

The purpose of this dimension is to ensure that quality assurance procedures for centres and degrees are implemented. The most important procedure of the Internal Quality Assurance System is the development and review of the quality policy and objectives, as it establishes the basis for the development of the remaining IQAS procedures.
