Cistella Responsable (Responsible Basket) is a CEDAT Foundation initiative in the UV by the Vice-Principal Office of sustainability and Healthy Lifestyle. Its goals are promoting a healthy consuming model that will improve the possibility to access ecological food that's local and on season, integration people with disabilities in the professional area to build a more solidary and committed society.

This initiative will specifically allow the university community to order and receive these baskets with ecological products in their offices and collecting points, provided by CEDAT Special Centre of Work personnel.

The proposal is simple. Clients will register on the Cistella website: https://ir.uv.es/mz4RkGL. The, order their basket between Thursday and Sunday, with different package options, and a particular collection point. On Wednesday, the basket will arrive and the client can pay using their credit card on the platform.

The solivu Association will be in charge of the orders confection.

The bags in the basket has been made by women in risk of exclusion using the remnants of fabric industries via the 'Mil-una' project of the Sagunto ISOC Centre of Professional Training. Agricultors bring the orders to CEDAT Foundation and its carries out the delivery in recycled and ergonomically designed carriages.

Personnel with disabilities of the Special Centre of Work are in charge of the campus deliveries that come in boxes and fabric bags at the cost of 7 euros.

This initiative brings healthy and sustainable food to the university community.
