SPECIFIC INFORMATION FROM THE FACULTY OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORT SCIENCES

The basic guidelines regarding the VALIDATION OF SUBJECTS at the FCAFE are:

- Core and compulsory subjects must be validated for subjects or combinations of subjects similar in content and credits.

- In sports subjects there is flexibility to validate them for other sports that are as similar as possible depending on whether they are individual, team, wrestling or aquatic activities.

- Elective subjects can be validated for any subject or combination of subjects equivalent in credits.

- Language subjects will not be validated for subjects in our curriculum.

Courses in which a student has previously failed may not be included in the learning agreement.

For example, if next year you are going to do the third year of the Degree and you want to validate all the subjects of that year, the destination university must have similar subjects, since all the third year subjects are core and compulsory. In the event that some subjects are not in the destination, you also always have the option of validating your fourth year electives during your Erasmus stay and taking the third year subjects that you have left the following year. In any case, later we will hold a meeting with the people who have been awarded an Erasmus scholarship and we will provide more details on all these issues, but you should already know these basic criteria so as not to choose universities in which the subjects offered are very different from those you want to validate.

As for the Final Degree Project, it cannot be validated for ERASMUS subjects in the destination. As for External Internships, they could be validated in some specific situations but the procedure is more complex. Therefore, if you are leaving during your last year, we recommend that you choose only one semester or, if you are very interested in doing the entire course, contact the academic coordinator, Professor Miquel Pans (miquel.pans@uv.es), as soon as possible, so that he can inform you in time about the available options.

Finally, we remind you that it is very IMPORTANT that, whenever you contact us, you use the INSTITUTIONAL EMAIL, and not a Gmail account, etc.
