The Road Education is one of the most important measures for the reduction of road accident rates and the promotion of a culture of the road safety. In spite of this his form and degree of application in our country is not the desirable. With everything, and in spite of his long tradition, does not exist a deep knowledge and aim on the same. Consistently it does  indispensable diagnose the state of the Road Education  in Spain with the object to develop a Plan of Performance that allow to increase his coverage, as well as improve the degree of efficiency of the same, by means of the determination of some minimum standards in his scope. With this will achieve  improve the generation of habits, behaviours, attitudes and values in the field of the traffic in the school population and other communities. For this the present project of Development and Investigation focuses on provision of a system of evaluation of the Road Education, in endowing to the managers of the *DGT of the instruments and suitable protocols that allow the continuous evaluation of said evaluation, in realising a primary evaluation that allow to know the degree of current coverage of the Road Education and of the efficiency and effectiveness, in establishing a plan of performance for the Road Education, in determining some minimum standards of application of the Road Education and in improving the social perception of utility of the Road Education and the implication in the same by part of all the agents and users involved in the same.
