Developed in Valencia during the month of November 2004.

The aim of this lecture was the transmission of the driving simulator’s ability for being used as a training tool, in the prevention of on mission accidents that happen in oil explorations.

Specific aims of the course: it is about making the workers aware of the driving risks, how they affect them, how they can be avoided, especially through information and training of the workers in road safety, in order to modify their attitudes, eliminate their inappropriate behaviours and their risky behaviours.

Specific contents of the course: general traffic accidents vs occupational traffic accidents: Why to do? Who should do? What to do?; possible interventions on occupational traffic accidents; training: star of preventive strategies; driving simulators as a tool for prevention: are they really useful?

Within counselling and technical support on research and development in safety.
