Developed by the Research group DATS, aimed at lorry drivers of CLH, S.A. Company for the prevention of on mission accidents.

Specific aims of the course: it is about raising workers’ awareness on the risks involved in driving, how they affect them and can cause collateral damage, how they can be avoided, specially through information and training of workers on road safety, in order to change their attitudes, eliminate their inappropriate behaviours and their risky behaviour.

Specific content of the course: study of the basic processes involved in driving (attention and perception) and how these change because of risky behaviours; explanation of drivers’ behaviour, how they evaluate the risk and how it changes, analysis of the main risky behaviours and the motives and attitudes that are underneath; main human errors involved in the incident-accident interrelationship, consumption of harmful substances, stress, tiredness, distractions, sleep, etc.
