Specific objectives of the course: to provide students with a basic understanding of the design, implementation and interpretation of statistical analysis involving accident data for urban traffic.
Specific content of the course: Accidents data as a tool for decision making: coordination with national and European institutions; levels of accident analysis; warehousing and information management: accident databases; accident data sources, gathering protocol data; overview of statistics applied to the analysis of accidents. SPSS Application.
