The Arxiu Valencià del Disseny is organising its first international conference under the title "El diseño en el marco de la economía circular: creación, valorización y recepción - Design in the Frame of Circular Economy: Creation, Valorization and Reception". The conference will take place on 10, 11 and 12 November 2022 at Facultat de Geografia i Història of the (Universitat de València). The papers, thematic round tables, communications and posters that will be presented at the conferences will deal with fundamental aspects of design at the moment, such as: the creation of design, its valorization and its social reception in the frame of circular economy. In addition, several visits to other design-related spaces will also be organized.

CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS - New deadline
The deadline’s submission of papers and posters to participate in the conference opens on Wednesday 27 July. Applications can be sent by email to congres.avd@uv.es up to Sunday 11 September (included). New deadline: 20 September 2022.
The papers submitted will correspond to one of the three areas of research present at the conference: creation, valorization or social reception of design. Subsequently, the papers may be published in the journal ARXIU, after its review by the journal's scientific committee.
The presentation of posters is focused on sustainable design initiatives and projects carried out by companies and professionals. This section aims to work as a meeting point that allows design production agents to become more visible and to contact potential clients or collaborators.

The Fundació General de la Universitat de València (FGUV), entity that manages the Arxiu Valencià del Disseny (AVD) wants to call design professionals, studios,
groups and agencies for the design of the image of the first conference that the AVD organizes. For this call for project the AVD collaborates with the Asociación de
Diseñadores de la Comunitat Valenciana and València World Design Capital 2022, with the purpose of constitute a professional and expert Evaluation Committee to
assist in choosing the optimal and appropriate profile for this project.
