The event and the afterwards round table will take place at the Charles Darwin Assembly Hall of the Aulari Aulari Interfacultatiu, from 12:30 hours.

This is the first activity of the new educative innovation project of the Universitat de València, called ‘Innocampus Explora’, organised by al the centres of the Burjassot-Paterna Campus and its aim is to promote in an active way the relationship between students of the differents degrees in science and engineering of the Universitat, as well as to encourage the collaboration culture in intedisciplinar teams.

The interdisciplinarity allows to have a wider view of science, to encourage the exchange of experiences, the contribution of new ideas and it is essential for the progress of global society and economy nowadays.  The project will count on, on the one hand, professors and researchers of the different centres and research centres of the campus, whom will give a interdisciplinar and accessible view of the chosen topic and, on the other hand, a co-ordinator team of students with representatives of the different centres of the campus. Even though the main event of the activity will be a round table, the use of social networks will allow to spread out its development before and, specially, after this event.

For the presentation of this activity the topics chosen are Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. In this first round table there will be participating as speakers the professors and researchers Càndid Reig Escrivà (School of Engineering); Fernando Sapiña Navarro (Faculty of Chemistry); María Dolores Garcerá Zamorano, of the Faculty of Biological Sciences; David Valentín Conesa Guillén (Faculty of Mathematical Sciences); Ana Cros Stotter and Juan F.
