Conference in Caudete de las Fuentes
The recovery and development of the rural areas involves necessarily the improvement of the lives of the people living there, which entails the identification and promotion of the specific economic possibilities for each territory. In this sense, tourism, acknowledged nowadays as a need and even as a right, appears as a decisive factor in the development of countries and regions.
This conference, organised by Caudete de las Fuentes’ City Council and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation of the University of Valencia, revolves around the so-called cultural tourism, a concept in which the knowledge of monuments and historical places combines with the immersion in the natural and cultural history, as well as with the knowledge of arts, philosophy and the way of life of the different communities.
