The UV, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation and the Office of the Vice-Principal of Internationalisation and Cooperation continues with the Erasmus Programme in the Territory. In this 3rd edition has organised training pathways which allow to visit some Valencian towns that are models of their culture and heritage. These pathways are addressed to the students of the Erasmus Programme of the UV for the academic year 2015-2016. The routes, which have been designed along with the corresponding town councils, are characterised by their training vocation, where it is intended to educate Erasmus students on the heritage, cultural and landscape values of the Valencian geography. REQUENA has a rich history coming from a strategic location, dominating since ancient times the natural route that joins Valencia with the Castillian meseta. Its old town shows the glory of that time in which curiously, the town didn’t depend on the wine activity but its economy was based on the production of silk. A route through the ancient caves where wines, oils and cereals were stored in large earthenware jars will be carried out.
