Registration open with 2 free elective credits Artistic territories of Resistance Extreme representations of women in contemporary art From 20 to 24 June, registration until 17/06

Through a non-conformist aesthetics and with self-will, artists such as Carolee Scheemann, Frida Kahlo or Ana Mendieta, among others, talked to us about a multiple and inedited identity where the body becomes the main protagonist of this extreme, firm and compromised will which has tried to eliminate and denounce the differences with the patriarchy. The women’s world has been the linking point and the canvas for expression, where they have projected their needs, demands and complaints. The possibility of self-definition has meant a liberation for these artist women which has allow them to own their body for the first time, a body previously used, abused and enjoyed by the patriarchy.
