Online registration open for the conference in Alzira until the 9 at 14h.
The meeting, which will take place at the Archivo Municipal in Alzira from 18:00h to 20:30h, aims to deal with the matter of whether the social firms can help the local governments to enforce their social and occupational policies. This question has been asked by researchers of the Universitat de València, who agree that the cooperatives and other firms contemplated in the Social Economy Law seem the most appropriate to provide local services, as well as to promote the occupation in the territory. They are an intermediate channel between the market and the direct provision of public services, but specially, with them, the money and the effort of the municipality revert to it, generating this way more occupation and wealth.
This conference is addressed to teaching staff, researchers, students, associations (cultural, environmental, educational) and public in general.
