The climbing team of the UV goes to Moralzarzal (Madrid) for competing in the Spanish University Climbing Championship. The most important event at national level that on this occasion is organised by the National Distance Education University (UNED). The team directed by Mónica Sánchez goes to the meeting after winning the last April the Regional University Sports Championship (CADU). In the competition will compete all the universities of the Valencian university system. The team composed of Ángela Altaba, Andrea Cervera, Noelia García, Luis Granja, Audhild Hogasen and Nicolás Llin go to Madrid for performing the accreditation process in the Rock Game Moralzarzal facilities. Moreover, the UNED has organised a talk/conference on prevention and treatment of climbing injuries, by the Dr César Canales Hortelano. On 30 May the competition starts, in the morning the qualifying stage and semi-finals will take place and after lunch, from 16:00 it’s the time for the finals. As in previous university sport competitions, the Physical Education and Sports Service will broadcast live the matches through its official social networks (Twitter:@sefuv and www.facebook.com/SEFUV) in which it will offer to all supporters the more immediate information of the matches’ results.
