Greek Inter-war Poetry: Kostas Kariotakis and the break with tradition. Participating: Jesús Cabezas (translator), Jordi Pérez Asensio (UV) and Begonya Pozo (Head of the Poetry Hall).
Kostas Karyotakis (October 30 1896, Trípoli, Greece– July 20 1928, Preveza, Greece) was one of the most representative Greek poets of the 1920s. His poetry includes many natural images and a bit of expressionism and surrealism. He commited suicide in 1928. Since he died, his work had a big influence on Greek poetry.
