Joan Roís de Corella is one of the most subtle and cult writers of the Valencian humanistic movement lyric and prose of the 15th Century, the century of Ausias March, Joanot Martorell, Jaume Roig or Sor Isabel de Villena. Corella, is considered a key author in the transition from medieval literature to Renaissance literature, is author of wide and varied works which includes religious and mythological poems and profane proses, lives of Saints and translations of great classics of Theology
