Registration open for the training conference on immigration in Burjassot on 27 September.
One of the main challenges that multicultural European societies face today is building harmony from the peace culture. The advance of social and institutional xenophobia, specially aggravated towards Muslims, the intensified stigmatisation processes of immigrants and the confrontation logics within the division between a fictitious “us” and an imaginary “them”, are the most important obstacles when it comes to build that harmony. The conference “Harmony in diversity and the challenges of facing in the xenophobia and Islamophobia field” analyses this reality and raises guidelines linked to mediation, interculturality and the promotion of rights.
