The professors of the University of Valencia have the opportunity to supplement their teaching activities by participating in the process of competence acquisition of the students. Therefore, contributing in the improvement of their future employability. The Escola MOTIVEM (MOTIVEM School) provides professors with this task through the MOTIVEM ideas competition.
Who can participate?
The staff of teacher-researchers and researchers in training with authorised teaching in the 2025/2026 academic year at the University of Valencia.
What is its duration?
30 hours
Accreditation
As in previous editions, an accreditation of this learning course for the professors who completed these two phases will be requested from the Permanent Training and Educational Innovation System (SDPIE).

Phase 1. Modules and dates
Training will be done in person and online (18 hours) and will include the following modules:
- Escola MOTIVEM
- Teaching leadership
- MOTIVEM team coordination
- MOTIVEM artificial intelligence
- Employability, entrepreneurship and MOTIVEM
- Sustainable development objectives at MOTIVEM
- Intellectual property and data protection at MOTIVEM
- Experience at 2025 Escola MOTIVEM

- January (Thursday 15, 9:30 to 17:30 and Friday 16, 9:30 to 13:30)
- April (Thursday 16, 9:30 to 11:30)
Online:
- 17 to 30 January
Phase 2
Practical application via the coordination of a team formed by students in the MOTIVEM Ideas competition (12 hours)
The Teaching team of the Escola MOTIVEM is a figure established due to a proposal of the MOTIVEM Academic Council of the UV as a training action for its professors. Its objectives are:

To strengthen the Escola MOTIVEM;

To draft a group of experienced people that enables the design and consolidation of an innovative programme;

To update the content and methodologies in order to improve the quality of the Escola MOTIVEM.
The team is formed by the co-management of the specialists teaching team and the advisor teaching team.
