Nicolás Andrés Sánchez Acevedo presents his thesis about the knowledge of mathematics teachers

On September 3, 2025, the defense of the Doctoral Thesis of the student Nicolás Andrés Sánchez Acevedo took place, supervised by doctors Luis Carlos Contreras González, Carlos Segura Cordero and Leticia Sosa Guerrero. The title of the thesis is "Conocimiento especilizado del profesor de Matemáticas a partir de la selección y uso de exemplórios en la enseñanza de la eqúcación y función cuadrática. A estudio de caso" (Specialized knowledge of the Mathematics teacher based on the selection and use of examples in the teaching of the quadratic equation and function. A case study).

The jury was formed by professors David Arnau, from the University of Valencia; María Cañadas, from the University of Granada; and María Teresa González-Astullido, from the University of Salamanca. The thesis was assessed with a rating of excellent, and can be consulted through the following link.
