For more than fifteen years, Miguel Ángel has developed his professional career in the field of information security and regulatory compliance within the field of health in a first stage from the private company and since 2018 as Delegate of Data Protection of the Service of Health of the Balearic Islands.
Miguel Ángel has a degree in Computer Engineering as well as a master's degree in Auditing and Computer Security, the University Master's Degree in Health Administration taught at this school and is also a former student of the Master's Degree in Systems Management and ICT for Health and in Health Digitization.
Likewise, Miguel Ángel has different certifications within the security and data protection sector, among which the following should be highlighted:
- DPD/DPO – Data Protection Officer – AEPD
- CEH - Certified Ethical Hacking
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Information Security Management Systems Auditor (ISMS)
- CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
- CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
Finally, I would like to point out that Miguel Ángel is currently the General Coordinator of the Health Data Security and Protection Forum organized by the SEIS (Spanish Society of Health Informatics).
