The Cátedra de Privacidad y Transformación Digital Microsoft-Universitat de València invites the hybrid seminar «Health Research: European Health Data Space challenges», which will be held on November 16. It is an interdisciplinary seminar that integrates representatives of the public and private sectors, researchers and experts in ethics and law.

Its essential objective is to examine the Proposal for a Regulation on the European Health Data Space, place it in the context of the approved EU regulatory frameworks (RGPD and DGA) or in development (AI Regulation, Data Act, AI Liability, Directives), generating strategic knowledge on the matter.

Also, the general objective is to analyse the conditions of research with health data in the medical field with a view to the Proposal for a Regulation on the European Health Data Space. It is a debate embedded in the European Digital Strategy and the European Health Data Space. Likewise, it is directly related to the proposals of the Data Governance Act and the Artificial Intelligence Act.
